Redskins Star Puts French Country Manor House On The Market
One of the most appealing features of the house, located near Leesburg, is its kitchen with a huge island custom cabinets.
LEESBURG, VA — Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed, a dynamic and extremely talented player on the football field, has put his 9,689-square-foot house, located south of Leesburg, on the market for $2.7 million. Unfortunately, due to a history of concussions, the all-pro tight end's future as a Redskin is uncertain.
Reed's French country manor, built in 2015 on a 3-acre lot, comes with a foyer that leads to a grand curved staircase and chandelier lighting. One of the most appealing features of the house is its kitchen with a huge island, custom cabinets and a walk-in pantry.
Located near the Creighton Farms Golf and Country Club, the house has a lower level designed for entertaining with a huge club room with bar, a game area with a gas fireplace, a theater and an exercise room. Reed's house is located just off U.S. Route 15, about halfway between Oatlands Plantation and Gilberts Corner.

Reed purchased the house for $2.5 million in 2016, the same year he signed a multiyear contract extension with the Redskins reportedly worth $50 million, including $22 million guaranteed. After the 2016 season with the Redskins and living in his new house, Reed was named to his first Pro Bowl.
His 2019 season began with a concussion in the preseason and the team placing him on the injured reserve list in October for the rest of the season. Here's wishing Reed good health and a bright future if he decides to make this NFL season his last.
