Road Rage Incident Reported in Lansdowne: LCSO

A woman reported being assaulted by another driver in the Lansdowne Town Center area in a dispute about right-of-way at a stop sign.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A road rage incident reportedly occurred in the Lansdowne Town Center on Thursday, Sept. 1, according to a Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) spokesperson.

Deputies say that the victim reported she was assaulted by another driver at about 1:50 p.m. during an apparent road rage altercation in the 19300 block of Ruby Drive in Leesburg.

According to the spokesperson, the dispute was about who had the right-of-way at a stop sign. One driver grabbed the victim after the two vehicles nearly collided.

Both drivers have been identified by LCSO. It has not yet been determined if the victim will press charges, according to the LCSO.
