Salamander Resort Chef to Appear on Food Network Show

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Salamander Resort & Spa's Executive Pastry Chef Jason Reaves will be making his fourth appearance on Food Network for its sixth season of Halloween Wars on Sunday evening, October 2 at 9 p.m., according to Salamader Resort & Spa.

During the episode, according to the Food Network: "teams made up of an expert pumpkin carver, cake decorator and sugar artist compete to create exquisite displays that capture a ghoulish clash between witches and warlocks; special guest Elvira, mistress of the dark judges."

Chef Reaves oversees the full pastry team at Salamander Resort and Spa. As a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. with a specialization in baking and pastry, he has worked as a pastry chef at Leesburg’s Lansdowne Resort & Spa and for the Norwegian Cruise lines ‘Pride of Aloha’, Pride of America cruise ships. Chef Reaves has appeared in multiple Food Network competitions.
