Salamander Resort & Spa to Host Multiple Holiday Events

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Salamander Resort & Spa, the luxurious equestrian-inspired resort, is welcoming the community to attend festive events throughout the month of December. Located in Middleburg on 340 picturesque acres, Salamander Resort & Spa includes an award-winning 23,000-square-foot spa, Harrimans Virginia Piedmont Grill, the Gold Cup Wine Bar, a dedicated Cooking Studio, a chef-inspired Culinary Garden as well as the adventurous Tree Top Zip Tour. The resort includes a full-service Equestrian Center with unique programming, a 22-stall stable and riding arena.

All spa, culinary and equestrian facilities and programs are open to the community.

• Harrimans Cooking Studio Holiday Series
  • Gingerbread House Workshop: Dec. 10 & 17, 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. $30 per person
  • Holiday Cookie Decorating: Dec. 24, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. $30 per person
  • Champagne Cocktails & Caviar Tasting: Dec. 31, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. $72 per person

• Brunch with Santa, Dec. 3, 10 & 17 – Visit with Santa and his elves while enjoying a delicious brunch in Harrimans with sweet and savory holiday favorites for the entire family. The brunch also will feature a make-your-own holiday keepsake designing station as well as a photo opportunity with Santa. 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. $45 per adult, $30 per child.

• 2nd Annual Naughty or Nice Christmas Cabaret, Dec. 18 – StageCoach Theatre Company returns with the “2nd Annual Naughty or Nice Christmas Cabaret” to carry guests into the holiday season. It will be an evening of laughs, memories, a delicious dinner and maybe some tears as guests are taken on a holiday journey through time. 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. $85 per person; includes show and dinner.

• Christmas Eve Dinner, Dec. 24 – Enjoy a lavish four-course family-style feast of holiday favorites with a special twist from the chefs at Harrimans. 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. $79 per person, $30 additional for wine pairings.

• Christmas Day Brunch, Dec. 25 – After tearing into presents all morning, join Harrimans for an elaborate brunch with sweet and savory favorites. 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. $59 per adult, $25 per child over three years of age.

• New Year’s Eve Dinner, Dec. 31 – On the last night of 2016, a culinary masterpiece is prepared in a special four-course dinner at Harrimans. After dinner, join the celebration in the Living Room to ring in the New Year in style. 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. $79 per person.

• New Year’s Eve Family Party, Dec. 31 – Welcome 2017 with a celebration for the whole family to enjoy. Celebrate with music, dancing, games and a delicious buffet. 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. $59 per adult (includes access to 21-year-old and older New Year's Eve party in Living Room), $45 per child.

• New Year’s Eve Celebration, Dec. 31 – Say farewell to 2016 and toast to 2017 with a cheerful celebration in the Salamander Living Room, complete with live music, dancing, delicious hors d'oeuvres and passed champagne. 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. $40 per person.

• New Year’s Day Brunch, Jan. 1 – It’s the first meal of the New Year ao do it right with a delectable mix of regional and seasonal brunch offerings at Harrimans. 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. $59 per adult, $25 per child. Bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary's available for an additional $25.
