Starbucks At Leesburg Plaza Open For Business Following Delay
The popular coffee shop was scheduled to open a 2,500 square foot location on Market Street last summer, but has opened its doors this week.

LEESBURG, VA — A new expanded Starbucks location that was slated to open for last summer in Leesburg Plaza is now open for business.
The opening of the 2,500 square-foot location on Market Street was delayed until this week. A Starbucks spokeswoman did not address the reason for the delay in opening in an email to Patch on Friday, but said confirmed the new Starbucks opened last week. The location also includes improved streetscape and new landscape including new trees, wider sidewalks and other features has opened its doors, officials said.
The Leesburg location will be open from 5 a.m.- 9 p.m. on weekdays and from 5:30 a.m.-9 p.m. on weekends.

“We are thrilled to welcome such a highly sought-after national merchant like Starbucks to Leesburg Plaza,” Deirdre M. Johnson, Vice President of Asset Management for Federal Realty Investment Trust said in a news release announcing the opening of the popular coffee shop.
“The drive-thru feature, combined with a modern indoor design with comfortable seating as well as an outdoor café area, creates a location ideal for the many needs of our customers whether they need a quick coffee on the go or a gathering place to connect with business associates and friends.”
