Obituary provided by Colonial Funeral Home.

Stephanie L. Quinn, beloved Mother, Grandma, Sister, Aunt and Friend, passed away on Tuesday the 4th of February 2015 at the Adler Center for Caring, Aldie, Virginia. Stephanie was surrounded by close family members and transitioned to heaven after a tough battle with breast cancer.

Born September 20, 1940 in Arlington, Virginia, Stephanie was the eldest daughter of Ardell P. King and Fred T. King. Raised in Falls Church and Springfield, VA with her twin siblings, Retired LtCol Fred T. King and Cheryl L. Blythe, Stephanie married Thomas O. Quinn and became a long time resident of Germantown, Maryland. After raising two children, Stephen and Shannon Quinn, as an Executive Assistant, Stephanie worked and retired at the Central Intelligence Agency at the young age of 70.

Stephanie loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. As the “Ferry Grandma” constantly using the ferry to transport between Germantown and Leesburg, she loved supporting her Grandchildren and was always the fan in the seats for many Irish Dance competitions and shows, school achievements and sports events. She also enjoyed spending time with family in spring and summer beach vacations.
