Suspect Punched Deputy During Arrest: LCSO
A Woodbridge man was arrested after allegedly pulling out a closed pocket knife and then punching a law enforcement officer in Leesburg.

LEESBURG, VA — A Woodbridge man was arrested after allegedly pulling out a closed pocket knife and then punching a law enforcement officer in Leesburg, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).
Deputies say that LCSO responded to the scene of a vehicle crash at in the 12000 block of James Monroe Hwy in Leesburg on Sept. 8 at about 1:13 p.m.
The driver of the red Ford pick-up brandished a closed pocket knife. The suspect obeyed commands and
dropped the knife.

As the Deputy was placing subject in handcuffs he turned and punched the Deputy.
The suspect was taken into custody.

The suspect was identified as Henry A. Davis, 39, of Woodbridge, VA. Davis had outstanding charges
from Prince William County Police and was transferred into their custody.
This case is pending consultation with the Loudoun County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, according to the LCSO.
