Suzanne D. Fox Elected Vice Mayor of Leesburg Town Council

Suzanne D. Fox was elected as Vice Mayor of the Leesburg Town Council.

LEESBURG, VA — The Leesburg Town Council elected Suzanne D. Fox as Vice Mayor at their regular meeting on Jan. 25, according to a Town of Leesburg announcement. Ms. Fox was elected to Town Council in November 2014 and took office on January 1, 2015.

“I love Leesburg. It is an honor and privilege to serve as Vice Mayor. We have a strong leader in Mayor Burk, and we have a strong Council. I look forward to working in unity with my colleagues for the betterment of our Town,” Fox commented following the meeting.

Council Member Fox is the owner of Legacy Weddings, a wedding planning/coordinating business, and is a Civil Celebrant for the Commonwealth of Virginia. In addition, she and her husband, Bill own and operate Weddings on Wirt Street, a small wedding venue in downtown Leesburg.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Brigham Young University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Vice Mayor Fox and her family moved to Leesburg in 2003.

She will serve as Vice Mayor until January 2019.
