Tennis Players, Sponsors Sought for Charity Tournament
Players and sponsors are sought for an annual tennis tournament on June 12 that will raise money for adults with disabilities.

LEESBURG, VA: ECHO (Every citizen has Opportunities, Inc.), a non-profit that provides services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is seeking players and sponsors for their annual charity tennis tournament on June 12 in Leesburg, according to an ECHO announcement.
The ECHO Tennis Classic is a non-sanctioned mixed doubles play tournament for players of all ability levels being held on June 12, 2016 at Ida Lee Recreation Center, in Leesburg, Virginia. Their goal this year is to raise enough money to bring at least one individual off the waiting list and into our supported work program.
“It takes $19,000.00 /year to have one adult participate in the ECHOworks supported work program without our transportation and $28,000.00 with transportation,” as quoted by Lorri Murray, Director of Program Services.

In the last 20 years, the Tennis Classic has raised more than $550,000.
