Trick-or-Treating in Downtown Leesburg Set for Oct. 29

Children are invited to trick-or-treat in costumes in Downtown Leesburg on Saturday, Oct. 29.

LEESBURG, VA – The Leesburg Downtown Business Association (LDBA) will host its first annual trick-or-treating event, in the historic downtown, on Saturday, October 29 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Families are invited to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume while trick-or-treating at more than two dozen participating businesses. Each one will have an orange balloon outside, indicating they’re a stop. A map will also be available one week prior to the free event. Pet dogs welcome, costume optional.

“The LDBA really wants to see more family activity in the downtown,” said Board Member Maryanna Conboy. “Between our three local high schools decorating the business windows for Halloween and the upcoming parade, we felt this would be a simple, yet fun event for everyone involved.”
