Tuscarora High School Evacuated After Bomb Threat

Tuscarora High in Leesburg was evacuated this morning, Oct. 13, due to a bomb threat. Law enforcement is presently assessing the situation.

LEESBURG, VA — Tuscarora High School in Leesburg was evacuated Thursday morning due to a bomb threat, according to a Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) announcement.

Prior to evacuation, the exterior grounds were checked and cleared by law enforcement, and students were moved to the stadium.

All students are safe and have now been sent to Heritage High School while law enforcement continues to assess the situation.

Students will remain at Heritage High school for the remainder of the afternoon.

Pickup and release of Tuscarora students will occur at Heritage High School at the end of the school day, according to LCPS.
