Village at Leesburg's Holiday Event Calendar

LEESBURG, VA – Village at Leesburg will host its annual tree-lighting ceremony on Saturday, November 19, 2016. The spectacular 5-story musical tree will come to life as a snowfall topper and 15,000 lights are synchronized to well known holiday tunes. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by horse-drawn carriage to kick off the festival at 3 p.m. and attendees can enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, caroling, holiday characters, cozy fire pits--and more, according to the Village at Leesburg.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a toy to be donated to Toys for Tots.

Visitors to Village at Leesburg can also celebrate Hannukah early this year with Rabbi David Greenspoon of Congregation Sha'are Shalom on Sunday, December 11, at 4 p.m. at the nine-foot menorah. The Jewish Festival of Lights will also be observed December 24 through January 1, with a candle being illuminated at nightfall throughout the 8-day holiday.

The 5-story tree and 9-foot menorah will stand as a centerpiece for many holiday activities at Village at Leesburg throughout the holiday season. Here are some of the Village at Leesburg's upcoming holiday events:

Nov. 20 – Jan 1. Daily Show Schedule: On the hour, 12 – 9 p.m.

Visiting the 5-story tall tree that performs daily music and light shows.

• Village at Leesburg Holiday Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides - FREE
  

Take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the festively decorated Village at Leesburg.

• Village at Leesburg Visit with Santa - FREE

Wednesdays, Nov 30 - Dec 21, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Visitors can stop by Smokehouse Live and visit with Santa. Bring your own camera and a toy to be donated to Toys for Tots.

• Village at Leesburg - International TUBA CHRISTMAS Concert - FREE

Sunday, December 11, 2 – 3 p.m.
Stop by the Village Plaza to experience an international holiday tradition when tuba players gather to play the sounds of the season.
