Virginia Tire & Auto Opens New Location In Leesburg

LEESBURG, VA — Virginia Tire & Auto has opened their 18th location at The Shops at Russell Branch, a new shopping center in southeast Leesburg. Though there are several Virginia Tire & Auto stores throughout Loudoun County, this is the first in Leesburg.

"We have been providing car care in Ashburn, Virginia, for over 25 years, so we are excited to offer a new, more convenient location for our Leesburg customers," Virginia Tire & Auto Co-CEO Julie Holmes said. "We’ve been receiving requests to open a store in Leesburg for years, so we’re thrilled to finally be expanding our services to this area."

Virginia Tire & Auto is owned and operated by women, the company said in a news release. They look to continue to encourage women in the automotive field at their new Leesburg location. "As we look to hire new staff for this and all our locations, we hope to attract more women to the auto care business," Moore said. "We feel there is a great opportunity to have more women join our great team."

Virginia Tire & Auto joins Lowe's and Aldi at The Shops at Russell Branch, a new development in Leesburg. The development is part of a rapidly developing area of northern Virginia, along Route 7.

The area currently features 80,000 cars on a daily basis, according to the shopping center's operators. The new Microsoft campus will be located 2.5 miles to the west.

The new Leesburg location will be open from Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The facility features 12 automotive bays, complimentary refreshments in a waiting room, and a kids' play area.

To celebrate their grand-opening, the store will offer $20 0ff oil changes through the end of July, the company said. Customers can use the code "LE20LOF" when scheduling their oil change online to receive the discount.
