Celebrate 4th with Concert, Fireworks Friday in Lorton

Grab your picnic blanket and lawn chairs!

The Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton invites everyone to come celebrate Independence Day on Friday with a free concert by Sixth Generation followed by a fireworks show, from 5:30-9 p.m.

The concert will start at 7 p.m. at Rizer Pavilion. Studio and gallery hours will be extended to 8:30 p.m.

Expect more than 25 food trucks, beer vendors and more.

Pack your blankets and lawn chairs, grab your friends and family, and head to the Workhouse for a fun summer evening to celebrate Independence Day! Concert and fireworks are free, $10 parking fee per vehicle. No outside alcohol is permitted. Fireworks, music and performers are subject to change in schedule without notice.

In addition to the festivities for the general public, we will host a private reception in the Muse Gallery for guests who want to beat the heat while enjoying beer, wine, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts. Reception guests will also enjoy fireworks from reserved seating and will have special parking reserved near the reception event.
