Metro workers marched out of a contentious WMATA board meeting in D.C. Thursday afternoon as the contract dispute between the two sides continue to intensify. Video shows the workers, who were wearing shirts that say "Stop Service Cuts" and "Bargain in Good Faith," walking out of the meeting while chanting, "Who moves this city? We move this city!"

Metro Nightmare: Chaos on Red Line After Fire, Huge Crowds Stranded

It was yet another black day for Metro Thursday morning, as a fire on the Red Line caused massive crowds to fill Metro Center and other stations, eventually prompting WMATA to ask riders to walk to a different station and pile onto buses. Despite Metro's year-long SafeTrack effort to fix chronic safety problems throughout the system, there doesn't seem to be much slowdown in fire and other safety incidents throughout the system. In Thursday's incident, WMATA suspended train service entirely during rush hour in the heart of downtown D.C. between Gallery Place and Dupont Circle stations.

Breast-Feeding Mom Asked To Stop At a Springfield Church
A mother said she was asked to leave a Springfield church for breastfeeding her baby. Annie Peguero, a military wife and personal trainer from Dumfries, said in a Facebook Live video she was breastfeeding during Summit Church services when a woman urged her to go to the baby room. Church leaders said it was policy to discourage public breastfeeding because it might make new and male churchgoers uncomfortable.
