STERLING, VA — The transition from the weekend to the work week is fairly straightforward, according to the area arm of the National Weather Service: So long, sun and hello, clouds — and probably some rain.
The upside is an uptick in temperatures and mostly low winds.

Tuesday: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 65. South wind 9 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Tuesday Night: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 47. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
