Northern Virginia Weather: Warmth Continues Ahead of Possible Snow

After a Tuesday with highs in the 70s, Wednesday cools off a bit but not by much. But then, says the National Weather Service, snow lurks.

STERLING, VA — Much of Wednesday is expected to be similar to Tuesday, according to the area arm of the National Weather Service.

But then things will change in a hurry.

Temperatures likely won't reach the low-7os again but mid-60s and some sun should be the norm until the afternoon, when clouds roll in bringing an 80 percent chance of rain and/or snow Wednesday night and into Thursday.
