Northern Virginia Weather: Wind Persists While Clouds Chased Away
A slight chance of rain remains through Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service, but wind gusts will soon follow.

STERLING, VA — A dash of light rain here and there is expected to be done with by mid-morning Wednesday, according to the local branch of the National Weather Service, followed by mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid-40s amid yet more wind.
Gusts of up to 30 mph are expected through Thursday night.
But the weekend forecast looks pretty nice, so far, with sunshine and highs in the 50s and 60s.

Tonight: A slight chance of rain after 1am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 37. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday: A slight chance of rain before 10am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 46. Breezy, with a southwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming northwest 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 27. Northwest wind 11 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 39. Breezy, with a northwest wind 14 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 25. Northwest wind 6 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 46.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 33.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58.
