After the high winds finally move out sometime Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service, warm sun should rule the weekend.

STERLING, VA — Mostly sunny skies are ahead for the next several days as the high winds finally depart after Thursday night with a weekend warm-up not far behind, according to the local branch of the National Weather Service.
Lows through Friday night are expected to be around freezing or slightly below before giving way to overall mild temperatures Saturday and Sunday.
Presidents Day (Monday) should be sunny with highs in the low 60s.
