Fatal Crash Under Investigation In Manassas Area: Police
The driver hasn't been wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened, Prince William County Police say.

One driver died in a crash overnight Wednesday in the Manassas area, Prince William County Police say.
Aroud 1:16 a.m. police responded to the area of Prince William Parkway near Scenic Point Place for a one-vehicle crash. The 2005 Honda Accord was heading north on the Prince William Parkway when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle veered to the right off the roadway where it struck an embankment and rolled.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. Bonnie Elizabeth McCafferty, 19, of Manassas, was pronounced dead on scene. No other people had been in the vehicle.

Police say speed had been a factor in the crash, but will continue to investigate if alcohol or drugs were involved.
