Police Seek Suspects in Aggravated Assault Outside McDonald's

Police are searching for two suspects accused of assaulting a Manassas Park man outside a McDonald's on Centreville Road Saturday morning.

Manassas City Police are searching for two suspects accused of assaulting a Manassas Park man outside a McDonald’s on Centreville Road Saturday morning.

At approximately 2:10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, Manassas City Police responded to the McDonald’s located at 9001 Centreville Road to investigate a reported assault.

The victim, a 31-year-old Manassas Park man, told officers he was verbally provoked upon exiting the restaurant by an individual he encountered in what he interpreted to be an insignificant run-in near the restrooms inside. A second suspect approached the victim in the parking lot and the three actively engaged in a physical altercation, during which the victim was struck multiple times and beaten by the suspects with a baton.

According the victim, the suspects fled the scene in separate vehicles heading north on Centreville Road. One drove a white Chevrolet truck while the other drove a dark red four-door sedan. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation is ongoing.

The suspects are both described as black males in their 40s with black and gray hair.
