The Virginia Department of Transportation is closing traffic on a section of Old Centreville Road in Manassas Park on Saturday.
MANASSAS PARK, VA — The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is closing traffic on a section of Old Centreville Road in Manassas Park on Saturday to allow crews to replace a stormwater pipe. The section of Old Centreville Road between Spruce Street and Rugby Road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
People who need to reach properties along Old Centreville Road will have access, according to VDOT. "However, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction," the highway department said Wednesday.
During the pipe replacement work, traffic will be detoured onto Spruce Street, McLean Street and Rugby Road back to Old Centreville Road.
