Alden Plans Drive-Thru Drama Performances, Actors Wanted
McLean's Alden Theatre will host socially-distant performances and offers stipends for actors.
MCLEAN, VA — The Alden Theatre, a performance venue based in the McLean Community Center, will bring back drive-thru drama performances and is recruiting actors.
The performances seek to provide socially-distant entertainment for the community and opportunities with pay for actors. Audience members experience the performances from their own vehicles, proceeding from actor to actor in the McLean Community Center parking lot. Actors perform one story through short scenes.
The performances will happen on Sept. 11 to 13, 18 to 20 and 25-27 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Timed tickets will be available on the Alden's website and must be purchased in advance.
