If you don't want to browse through the stores for safety reasons, some stores offer curbside or in-store pickup. Tysons Corner Center, potentially the DC region's busiest mall, notes on its website that peak hours are between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Fridays to Sundays. Shoppers can avoid the crowds by shopping during early or late extended hours.
