Community Arts Applications Sought For Capital One Hall
As Capital One Hall prepares to open, community arts organizations can apply to use the black box theater and classroom space.
MCLEAN, VA — Capital One Hall, a performing arts venue opening this fall at the Capital One Center development, is taking applications for community arts uses.
The venue will serve as a meeting place for Capital One's staff as well as a space for public events such as theater performances and concerts. It includes a 1,500-seat performance hall, 250-seat black box theater called The Vault, outdoor green space called the Perch, an atrium and terrace.
The 250-seat black box theater and classrooms at Capital One Hall will be available for community use. Negotiated rates will be offered for Fairfax County-based non-profit art groups, as well as arts programming for Fairfax County agencies and Fairfax County Public Schools.

ArtsFairfax is managing the online application process for community arts uses. Interested organizations can submit applications through ArtsFairfax.
Capital One Hall is scheduled to open in October 2021, following the opening of the new Capital One headquarters building and retailers like Wegmans and Starbucks. The Perch at Capital One Hall will be a green space located over 10 stories above the street, offering a park, performance space, and Perch Biergarten.
