Concerts In The Park Return To McLean In 2021
The free concerts will be held weekly at the McLean Central Park gazebo.
MCLEAN, VA — Summer concerts in the park will return to McLean in 2021, according to the McLean Community Center.
MCC has a lineup of Summer Sunday Concerts in the Park at McLean Central Park's gazebo. Performances will be held on Sundays at 5 p.m. from June 13 through July 25, but there won't be a performance on July 4. All events are free and open to the public.

Sunday, June 13: Josh Lovelace
Josh Lovelace, a member of the Grammy-nominated rock band NEEDTOBREATHE, will perform Americana music for the whole family. Lovelace joined the family music scene with Young Folk in 2017.

Sunday, June 20: Lucy Kalantari & The Jazz Cats
Lucy Kalantari & the Jazz Cats make bilingual, jazz age-inspired music for families and won a Grammy in 2019 for the album "All the Sounds." Frontwoman Lucy Kalantari is an award-winning artist, composer and producer who enjoys creating children’s music that brings joy, inspires community and highlights the power of resilience.
Sunday, June 27: JoJo & The Pinecones
New York City-based JoJo & The Pinecones bring their passion for jazz to a family-friendly perfromance. JoJo & The Pinecones is the family-friendly alter ego of the group Joelle & The Pinehurst Trio, described as playing "jazzed-up pop and popped-up jazz."
Sunday, July 11: Sun Dogs: A Tribute to Rush
Sun Dogs formed to recreate the sounds of Rush, who were at the time planning a final tour. The audience will enjoy 40 years of Rush's music with Sun Dogs.
Sunday, July 18: The Sensational Soul Cruisers: A Tribute to Motown
This 11-man horn group fronted by four soulful vocalists pay tribute to the 60s, 70s & 80s Old School, Classic Soul, R&B, Motown and Disco. Through a lifetime of study and hard work, the group captures the distinctive style, skill and choreography of a classic show band.
Sunday, July 25: Nashville Girls Night Out
Vocalist Jenny Leigh Miller has been compared to country artists like Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire.
