Frying Pan Farm Park To Host 67th County 4-H Fair
The fun begins Thursday; check here for information on carnival rides, games, activities and exhibits.

The old-fashioned country fun of the Fairfax County 4-H Fair and Carnival returns to Frying Pan Farm Park starting Thursday and running through Sunday.
Bring the family out to the farm to enjoy carnival games, rides and fair exhibits. 4-H exhibitors will be readying farm animals for show, and you can visit exhibit booths, test your hand at cow or goat milking, see farm equipment demonstrations, compete in multiple fair competitions, watch dog and horse shows and enjoy live entertainment.

Big Truck Night on the farm is Friday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. An antique tractor pull begins at 4 p.m. on Saturday, and there are blacksmithing demonstrations Saturday and Sunday. The schedule on Sunday includes multiple animal shows, dog demonstrations and stage entertainment.
The farmyard opens at 9 a.m. on Thursday, and carnival rides begin at 10 a.m. Rides end at 3 p.m., but the barnyard stays open and there is an evening concert with Gonzo’s Nose.

The farmyard again opens Friday at 9 a.m., and carnival rides run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday are usually less crowded than the weekend days. Weekday rides are perfect for playgroups, day camps and families.
The fair begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The carnival rides run from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday. Entry to the park grounds is free, however there is a $7 parking fee per car per day on the weekend.
