Guidehouse To Create Over 900 Jobs With Tysons Headquarters

TYSONS, VA — Management consulting company Guidehouse will establish its global headquarters in Tysons, state and local officials announced Monday.

The new campus at 1676 International Drive in McLean will accommodate more than 1,550 employees at full capacity. The $12.7 million investment creates more than 900 initial jobs.

"This move will allow us to best accommodate growth, serve our people and clients, and attract talent," said Scott McIntyre, CEO of Guidehouse, in a statement. "Virginia offers a highly skilled workforce and business-friendly climate, making it an ideal location for Guidehouse’s future.”"

Guidehouse provides management, technology and risk consulting services to the public and commercial sectors. Its 9,000 and counting employees are located in over 50 places worldwide.

Virginia competed with Maryland and DC to secure the Guidehouse global headquarters project. The Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority to secure the project and will support the job creation through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program. The state-funded program provides consulting services and funding to companies creating jobs to support employee recruitment and training. The company would also be eligible for the Major Business Facility Job Tax Credit with full-time jobs created.
