Keller Williams Collects Diapers, to Hold Food Drive
Diaper donations are currently being accepted.

Keller Williams Realty’s McLean office is currently collecting diapers for those in need, and you can donate.
The diaper collection comes as the office prepares to celebrate RED Day, a day of giving back to the community for Keller Williams agents across the United States and Canada, said McLean Realtor Diane Miller. RED stands for Renew, Energize and Donate.

This year, the McLean office will hold a food drive for Share of McLean May 9 in the parking lot of Giant at 1454 Chain Bridge Road. The office is one of the larger contributors to Share’s food pantry.
In preparation for the food drive, the office is collecting diapers with the goal of packing Miller’s office floor to ceiling with diaper boxes. Federal SNAP benefit, formerly known as food stamps, do not cover diapers or paper products, Miller said.

“Diapers, being as expensive as they are, that can really put additional stress on a family that’s in need anyway,” Miller told Patch.
Miller said the office has collected 63 boxes so far. Individuals and businesses wishing to donate may call Miller at 703-309-3555 or stop by the office, located at 6820 Elm St. in McLean.
