Langley Senior Earns Selection as Bank of America Student Leader
Spencer Nash Is the Only High Schooler from Fairfax County Chosen To Participate in the Exclusive Student Leaders® Summer Internship Program

Every year since 2004, Bank of America has selected approximately 300 high school juniors and seniors from across the nation to participate in its exclusive Student Leaders® summer program. For 2021, the only student from Fairfax County picked for the program is Spencer Nash of Langley High School in McLean.
Nash earned the nod due to his penchant for leadership within his school and community, including his presidency of Langley's National Honor Society and vice presidency of DECA. He tutors elementary and middle school students in math and computer coding, founded Langley's chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America, and founded the school's Finance Club to help educate fellow students on a variety of financial topics.
Additionally, Nash is a counselor-in-training at REC-PAC, a children's summer camp at which many campers come from unstable home environments. He was inspired to foster greater opportunities for disadvantaged kids to realize success, and has utilized his knowledge of computer science to create programs which guide youngsters in more positive directions.
