McLean Baptist Church a Partner in Darkness to Light Training
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Stop Child Abuse Now of Northern Virginia is partnering with McLean Baptist Church to sponsor Darkness to Light: Stewards of Children Training on April 20.
The training will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at McLean Baptist Church, 1367 Chain Bridge Road. Cost is $25 per person, including breakfast, a $5 per child for childcare.

The goal of Darkness to Light is to diminish the incidence and impact of child sexual abuse and to raise awareness of the prevalence and consequences of child sexual abuse in local communities. Stewards of Children is a child sexual abuse training program that educates adults to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse and motivates them to take courageous actions.
Registration is available at www.scanva.org/soc. Registration deadline is April 8.
