McLean Crime Blotter: Sept. 27-Oct. 3

Fairfax County Police logged the following incidents in the McLean Police District area during the week ending Oct. 3.

BURGLARY, 1300 block of Windy Hill Road, Oct. 1, 9:45 a.m. A resident reported someone entered their home and stole two laptop computers. Entry was made through an unlocked kitchen door.

BURGLARY, 1800 block of Westmoreland Street, Oct. 2, 2:35 p.m. A manager reported someone broke into the building. It is unclear what was taken. Forced entry was made through a window.

• Jeans from business on Chain Bridge Road
• Laptop from vehicle on Gate House Plaza
• Watch from school on Georgetown Pike
• Jackets from business on International Drive
• Tools from vehicle on Lee Highway
• Cash from vehicle on Old Lee Highway
• Rear license plate from vehicle on Robin Ridge
• Three incidents of merchandise stolen from business at Tysons Corner Center
• Purse from vehicle on Watson Street

Animal Control Division (Countywide)

ANIMAL BITE, 3900 block of Mariposa Place, Sept. 30, 4:45 p.m. Animal Control officers investigated an alleged dog bite where the victim reported she was bit by a dog running at large. The 5-year-old Pit Bull Terrier was routinely quarantined.
