After falling behind 9-1 early, the Hitmen never gave up and quickly mounted a comeback to take an 11-10 lead into the 4th inning. The game stayed close from that point on, however big late inning hits from Owen Ricketts and Grant Williams gave the Hitmen enough of a cushion to hold on for the victory.
Brenden Mabus, Michael Lowen and Williams combined on the mound for the Hitmen for the championship.
