McLean Youth Soccer Players of the Year and All-Conference Honors

In June, several McLean Youth Soccer players were awarded Players of the Year and All-Conference Team honors for the 2017-2018 season by various organizations. Congratulations to the following MYS players for their recognitions:

The Virginia Gatorade Girls Soccer Player of the Year, for the second year in a row, is Claire Constant. The award not only recognizes outstanding athletic excellence but also high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field. Constant is now a finalist for the prestigious Gatorade National Player of the Year to be announced in June.

The Washington Post's Spring All-Met selections were announced:

• All-Met Player of the Year - Claire Constant
• First Team All-Met - Jordan Silkowitz, Amber DiOrio, Julia Leas, Aleigh Gambone, Lauren Flynn, and Serena Pham
• Second Team All-Met - Bella Delew, Abbey Duncan, Bella Ponzi, and Natalie Wilson
• Honorable Mention - Jordan Beverina, Faith Lee, Becky Myers, Elizabeth Zhou, and Kimberly Zhou

And the inaugural Girls ECNL/United Soccer Coaches All-Conference Teams and Conference Players of the Year for the 2017-2018 season were awarded at ECNL Nationals:
