McLean's Kevin Hogan Drafted by Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs selected McLean native Kevin Hogan as the 162nd overall pick in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

MCLEAN, VA: The Kansas City Chiefs selected McLean native Kevin Hogan as the 162nd overall pick in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft from Whiteman Air Force Base on Saturday, April 30, according to a NFL announcement.

Born and raised in McLean, Hogan attended Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. He played college football for Stanford University and was their starting quarterback from 2012 to 2015.

"The McLean, Virginia, native is the winningest starting quarterback in school history (36-10). Hogan, a two-year team captain, was 16-6 against opponents ranked in the AP Top 25, led Stanford to three Pac-12 titles, and is the first quarterback to win three postseason bowl games, guiding the Cardinal to a pair of Rose Bowl victories and a Foster Farms Bowl triumph."
