New McLean Condo Development Slated For 2018 Open
The Signet condominium property will be McLean's first mixed-use residential development in over a decade.
MCLEAN, VA -- McLean will see its first mixed-use residential development in over a decade when the Signet condominium property opens in 2018.
Located at 6900 Fleetwood Road, the property will offer 123 units on six levels. There will be one, two and three bedroom options, with prices ranging from $800,000 to over $2 million. The property is being developed by Chevy Chase-based JBG Companies.
Amenities will include a concierge, fitness center, massage, steam and yoga rooms, a courtyard, on-site restaurant, retail, a public park and more. There will be garage parking for residents and visitors.

Not every unit will look the same. Units will range from 950 square feet to over 2,800 square feet, with over 93 different floor plans available.

JBG bought the property in 2009 and met with local focus groups and planning committees, according to sales director Anne Coleman. "We kind of incorporated all that feedback into the design of the building," she told Patch.
The property is geared for individuals looking to downsize from a home that do not want to leave McLean for Tysons or Washington, DC. The property has emphasized vast storage space to accommodate items from a bigger home. Residents can also customize optional features like closet storage and a smart technology system.
“The Signet will become McLean’s landmark community offering area residents the opportunity to move up, but not away,” said Greg Trimmer, a principal at JBG. “The property raises the bar in luxury living that presents a high level of services and amenities.”
