Two Men and One Minor Flee Police in Car and On Foot in Tysons Area
The suspects were apprehended, accused of stealing a car and making fraudulent credit card purchases, according to Fairfax County Police.
TYSONS CORNER, VA — Police have arrested two teen men suspected of stealing a car and making fraudulent credit card purchases, after they led officers on a brief car pursuit and chase on foot.
On Tuesday, Fairfax County police officers responded to a business in the 1900 block of Chain Bridge Road in McLean for a report of two men, whom loss prevention employees believed were making fraudulent credit card purchases.
Officers followed the suspects as they left the store, and police discovered they were driving a stolen vehicle.

The officers tried to pull the vehicle over, but the men refused to stop. Officers pursued the car and the two suspects eventually pulled over, then fled on foot. Officers continued to pursue them on foot and eventually captured the two suspects and a third boy, who is a minor.
The two men have been identified as Edler Lopez-Romero, 18, of Springfield, Virginia and Brandon Lee, 19, of Capital Heights, Maryland. They were arrested and charged with larceny, possession with the intent to distribute, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The juvenile was arrested and is being detained at the juvenile detention center.
