McLean Crime: Falls Church Girl Charged With Robbery in McLean

Other incidents include a suspicious package scare and several larcenies in the McLean Police District of the Fairfax County Police Department.

A 20-year-old Falls Church woman was charged with robbery following an incident in the 1600 block of Anderson Rd. early Saturday morning, according to Fairfax County Police Department officials.

Fairfax County Police said they were called regarding an assault at a business at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. According to a police release, the woman and a 23-year-old Alexandria man fled in a car. After an investigation, police charged the woman with robbery and the man with being drunk in public.

Fairfax County Police are investigating a burglary in the 6900 block of Turner Ave. where a bicycle was stolen on May 19.

A suspicious package was received in a building in the 7900 block of Jones Branch Drive on May 16. Building management decided to evacuate the building while Explosives Ordinance officers examined the package. Once evaluated the package was deemed not dangerous and the building resumed regular operations, according to police.
