UPDATE 7:30 am. Langley Farms power was restored Saturday afternoon, according to a neighbor. An area to the east of them remains one of the hardest hit.
ORIGINAL STORY 7:12 am.Power began to return to some McLean homes early Sunday morning.
Nearly 150,000 Dominion Power customers remain without power in Fairfax County but that number was nearly 300,000 about 6 pm Saturday.
However there are still four areas of McLean where more than 1,000 customers are without power. They include an area long Kirby Road just west of Old Dominion. An area near the CIA Headquarters. Another north of Chain Bridge Road along Great Falls. And tha last one is just west of the Beltway around east of Old Dominion.
It appears much of the restored areas are in the vicinity of Chain Bridge Road just west of downtown McLean.
Neighbors, please let us know when your power returns.
McLean Patch will continue to report on power outages until all the neighbors have their power restored.
