Pulcinella Relocating, New Restaurant Opening In Old Location

Pulcinella closed at the end of May at its old location and is preparing a new location.

MCLEAN, VA — Pulcinella Italian Host is now closed in its old location but will reopen in a new location. On top of that, a new restaurant is slated to open in the old location.

Pulcinella previously announced its location at 6852 Old Dominion Drive would close on May 31. The Italian restaurant, owned by the Gariani family, will relocate to 1310 Chain Bridge Road. The targeted opening date will be in July.

"Pulcinella is honored to have served you all for over 30 years now, and we plan on continuing the tradition. We hope to see you all very soon," the restaurant's website states.

Signs at the new location are not up yet, but the location is under construction. The location formerly hosted Fairfax Cleaners, which moved to 1445-A Chain Bridge Road.

The new restaurant at 6852 Old Dominion Drive will be called The Italian Oven, offering homemade pasta, wood-fired pizza and more. Owned by the Esposito family, it is aiming to open in summer 2021. The menu includes a selection of antipasti, salads, pasta, entrées, pizza and subs.
