Santa HQ, Tree Lighting, Other Events Coming To Tysons

TYSONS, VA — The holiday season kicks off early at Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria with the arrival of Santa and other events. Visitors can expect a Christmas tree lighting, Santa HQ and other holiday-themed events in November and December.

Here's a guide to the upcoming events at Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria.

Santa HQ: Nov. 9-Dec. 24

Tysons Corner Center will provide multiple camera angles to capture your family’s entire Santa experience. Guests can purchase the candid shots as well as the traditional pose to upload online and share with friends and family. Santa HQ is located in the Fashion Court near Nordstrom on the lower level. You can reserve a time slot ahead of time here.

Tysons Corner Center Holiday Tree Lighting: Nov. 15

Head to the Tysons Corner Center Plaza for the tree lighting from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tommy McFly, American Idol's Kris Allen and Santa will be present. Stay afterward for an acoustic performance from Kris Allen.

Santa Photos at Tysons Galleria: Nov. 15-Dec. 24

Santa photos will take place in the Macy's Court. You can reserve a time slot ahead of time online. See hours and pricing information here.

Holiday Cookie Decorating at Tysons Corner Center: Nov. 16

Head to BrandBox on level one for cookie decorating from 10 a.m. to noon. Space is limited, so register in advance.

Pet Photos with Santa at Tysons Galleria: Mondays, Nov. 18-Dec. 16

Your furry friends can get in on the fun on Mondays.

Sensory-Friendly Photos with Santa at Tysons Galleria: Nov. 24

Children with special needs and their families are welcome to this sensory-friendly event for a visit and photos with Santa from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Breakfast with Santa at Tysons Corner Center: Dec. 7

Meet Santa for breakfast on the level three food court from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Yappy Hour Photos with Santa at Tysons Corner Center: Dec. 9 and 16

Bring your furry friend for a holiday photo with Santa at Santa HQ from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Holiday Story Time PJ Party at Tysons Corner Center: Dec. 12

Come dressed in your PJs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for a reading of holiday classics, hot chocolate, other sweet treats and entertainment from Dee Vinchey Entertainment.
