Santa Visits Begin For 2020 Season In McLean
Santa and his elves will continue to visit neighborhoods around McLean.
MCLEAN, VA — Santa Claus is back in town. The McLean Volunteer Fire Department's annual Santa rides started on Dec. 1 and will continue on upcoming dates, weather permitting.
Santa typically heads out on a fire engine in downtown McLean between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. before visiting the scheduled neighborhood. Santa's ability to visit a street or neighborhood may be impacted by weather and other factors.
Santa and his helpers will not hand out candy canes like in past years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Residents are asked to practice social distancing while watching Santa pass through downtown McLean and neighborhoods.
