Turner Farm to Hold 'Astronomy for Family Fun: Moon'
Observatory Park at Turner Farm will host a lunar astronomy program on Saturday, March 18.
From Fairfax County: Whether you enjoy dancin’ in the moonlight or being followed by a moon shadow, you won’t want to miss this lunar astronomy program on Saturday, March 18, 2017.
Observatory Park at Turner Farm is hosting an astronomy night for family members age six to adult that puts a focus on the moon. Learn about earth’s natural satellite, and enjoy fun activities and crafts that will help to demystify the moon and “bring it down to earth.”
The program runs from 6 to 8 p.m. and costs $8 per person. Children must be accompanied by an adult registered in the program.
