Tysons Vaccination Center To Close Near End Of June
The COVID-19 vaccination site opened in April in the former Lord & Taylor store at Tysons Corner Center.

TYSONS, VA — As many people who wanted the COVID-19 vaccine have gotten it, the Tysons Community Vaccination Center will close near the end of June.
The last day for walk-in or scheduled appointments at the vaccination center will be June 26. It is located at the former Lord & Taylor at 7950 Tysons Corner Center, accessible by the Tysons Corner Metro station on the Silver Line.
The vaccination center opened on April 20 to provide a large-scale site accessible with public transportation. Organized by the Virginia Department of Emergency Management and Virginia Department of Health in cooperation with the Fairfax County Health Department and the Fairfax County Office of Emergency Management, the site is operated by Ashbritt/IEM.

The site offers the Pfizer vaccine for people 12 years of age and older and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to people 18 years and older who request it.
Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Walk-in appointments are available, or residents can schedule an appointment or contact the call center at 703-324-7404.

After the large-scale vaccination site closes, the COVID-19 vaccine will remain available at locations around the Fairfax Health District, such as pharmacies, private healthcare providers, grocery stories, urgent care and the Fairfax County Health Department. Vaccination sites can be found by searching for your ZIP code at vaccines.gov.
