Virginia High School League Releases 2015 Schedules for Saxons, Highlanders

Clear your Friday nights, football fans, as a new season of high school football in Virginia is now less than a month away.

The Virginia High School League recently released a master football schedule for the 2015 season, and the new season is slated to kick off at the end of August for some schools and in early September for the rest.

The Langley Saxons and McLean Highlanders are among the teams scheduled to play their season openers in September, with McLean scheduled to begin its season on Sept. 4 and Langley scheduled to begin its year on Sept. 3.

The two cross-town rivals will play one another on Nov. 6 at MHS in what is, by tradition, the regular season finale for both teams.
