Russian Spy Ship Spotted Off Virginia Coast: Reports

A Russian spy ship was seen late Wednesday steaming south off the coast of Virginia according to numerous news outlets. The ship, called the Viktor Leonov, was spotted approximately 65 nautical miles northeast of Norfolk, Virginia, home to the largest naval base in the world. The Department of Defense said it is aware of the vessel's presence, saying the ship "has not entered U.S. territorial waters."

Taco Bell Withdraws Plan to Build After Neighborhood Uproar

Plans to build a Taco Bell on Duke Street in Alexandria have been stopped indefinitely. After protests from neighborhood residents, whose concerns included lowered property value and pedestrian safety, the restaurant's owners have withdrawn their application to add the new location.

Serving up its famous chili dogs since 1960, the Vienna Inn is celebrating turning 57 with "Kid’s Night," and other food and drink specials. The famous DC-area venue is best known for their Chili Dogs and Chili Macs, selling over 10,000 chili dogs every month.

Anti-Trump Group in Virginia Asks Wegmans Grocery Stores to Pull Trump Wines

An anti-Trump group named "Stop Trump Wines" is asking Wegmans grocery stores in Virginia to pull Trump wines from its shelves. Furthermore, the group is asking customers to refrain from buying the wines at Wegmans as well as asking for people stop visiting the Trump winery in Charlottesville.

Old Centreville Road Bridge One Lane in Manassas: VDOT

According to VDOT, traffic has been reduced to one lane in alternating directions due to the rehabilitation of the Old Centreville Road Bridge. The project is ongoing an expected to be completed by next fall.
