Walk-In Appointments Available At Tysons Vaccination Center

The health department still recommends making an appointment to reduce the wait time.

TYSONS, VA — Walk-in COVID-19 vaccine appointments are now an option at the Tysons Community Vaccination Center at Tysons Corner Center.

The Fairfax County Health Department said first-come, first-served appointments are available Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents can complete a registration form on site or make an appointment by registering with the health department's Vaccine Administration Management System.

The new vaccination center opened at the former Lord & Taylor store at Tysons Corner Center on April 20. It is organized by the Virginia Department of Emergency Management and the Virginia Department of Health in cooperation with the Fairfax County Health Department and the Fairfax County Office of Emergency Management and run by Ashbritt/IEM as part of a contract with VDEM.

To find other vaccine providers in your area, visit VaccineFinder.org. From there, you can visit the vaccine provider's website and look for available appointment slots.

People 16 and older are eligible for the vaccine. The Fairfax County Health Department covers Fairfax County, the cities of Falls Church and Fairfax, and towns of Vienna, Herndon and Clifton.
