Wegmans Sets Tysons Store Opening For November

TYSONS, VA — The Wegmans location at the Capital One Center campus in Tysons is slated to open on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 9 a.m. The store at 1835 Capital One Drive South is hiring for 150 positions.

The 80,000-square-foot supermarket will include a Market Café with indoor and outdoor seating, The Burger Bar, casual restaurant counter with burgers, salads, sandwiches, specialty milkshakes, soups, and sides.

The location will have more than 400 total employees. Applicants can apply online and be contacted for virtual interviews. The hiring teams will hold interviews weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Select full-time customer service positions are available. The available part-time positions include cashiers, food production, cooks, and stocking opportunities.

The Wegmans store is located on the public-facing part of Capital One Center, a mixed-use development underway near the McLean Metro. Capital One's new headquarters building is open, while the Capital One Hall corporate events venue and performing arts center will open in fall 2021. The Perch, a rooftop green space on the Capital One Hall will also open in fall 2021. A Davio's North Italian Steakhouse, Starbucks, and The Perch Biergarten are among the planned business openings at the development. The City Works restaurant at Capital One Center has closed.
