Where To Find 2020 Christmas Tree Sales Around McLean

MCLEAN, VA — With Thanksgiving come and gone, some families will look to put up their Christmas trees for the season.

Whether you're an early decorator or want to know your options for later in December, there are Christmas trees for sale around McLean. You'll have to go out of town if you prefer a cut-your-own tree farm, but there are various pre-cut options in town.

Trinity & Scouts: Opens Nov. 27

• Location: 1205 Dolley Madison Boulevard, McLean (Trinity UMC parking lot)
• Hours: Nov. 27 from noon to 5 p.m., Nov. 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Nov. 29 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• More information: Shop early due to limited quantities. Customers should bring a mask and follow safety protocols.

St. John the Beloved: Opens Dec. 3

• Location: 6420 Linway Terrace, McLean
• Hours: Wednesday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• More information: Fresh cut trees, garland and wreaths will be offered. Cash and credit are accepted.

Sexton Christmas Trees: Opens Nov. 28

• Location: 10001 Georgetown Pike, Great Falls (behind post office)
• Hours: Weekdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (weather permitting)
• More information: Christmas trees, tree stands, garland, wreaths and Christmas decorations are available.

Meadows Farms Nurseries and Landscape

• Location: 10618 Leesburg Pike, Vienna
• Hours: Open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• More information: Check the business website for information on availability of Christmas trees. Cut and live trees will be offered, along with other items such as poinsettias.

George C. Marshall Boosters: Opens Nov. 28 through Dec. 20

• Location: Idylwood Presbyterian Church, 7617 Idylwood Road, Falls Church
• Hours: Weekdays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• More information: Shop early due to the limited supply of Christmas trees. There are also wreaths, garland, tree stands, White House ornaments and spirit apparel.

Krop's Crops and Vintage Marketplace

• Hours: Daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Dec. 24

Optimist Club of Arlington: Opens Nov. 27

• Location: Wells Fargo parking lot, 2213 N Glebe Rd, Arlington
• Hours: Fridays from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Mondays to Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
