Man Assaulted, Robbed After Denying Request For Money

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fairfax County police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police charged Ronald Price, 49, of Baltimore with a March 16 robbery in the 8000 block of Richmond Highway after a man denied Price's request for money. Price allegedly assaulted and fled with the man's wallet and cell phone.

In separate and unrelated incidents:

  • A homeowner in the 6700 block or Queens Road reported a burglary between March 13 and March 21. According to police, there were "several cases" of Girl Scout Cookies stolen from the home. The point of entry is unknown.
  • A business employee in the 6200 block of North Kings Highway reported a man shoplifting goods inside a store on March 16 at around 9:50 p.m. According to police, when the employee confronted the suspect, the suspect dropped the items, assaulted the employee and fled.
  • A man was robbed on his way home from work by several young men in the 7900 block of Richmond Highway on March 19 at around 11 p.m., according to police. The victim received minor injuries when the suspects pushed, punched and kicked him. The suspects stole the man's wallet and cell phone
  • Police investigated a burglary, responding to a security alarm in the 6100 block of North Kings Highway on March 21 at around 4:10 a.m. The suspects made entry through the front door and stole cigarettes.
